Kitchen renovation in Málaga
We renovate kitchens in Málaga: from new units and worktops to opening the kitchen onto the living room or adding an island. We are a full renovation company in Málaga with our own architectural technologist, so before moving any wall we check what can be touched and how to route the installations.
With more than 15 years of experience, we always start with a technical visit to understand the condition of your kitchen and what it needs.
What your kitchen renovation includes
Layout and open-plan kitchens
We assess whether it makes sense to open the kitchen onto the living room or redistribute the space to gain light and worktop area.
Kitchen islands
We check whether there is room for an island or peninsula and how to bring water, drainage and electricity to it.
Installations
Plumbing, drainage, electrics and extraction renewed and sized for today’s appliances.
Units, worktops and finishes
Units, worktop, wall finishes, flooring and lighting designed for everyday use.
How we work
- Technical visit to measure the kitchen and check installations and partition walls.
- Proposal for layout, units and finishes.
- Itemised quote before work begins.
- Works under technical supervision, coordinating every trade.
- Fitting and handover with installations and appliances tested.
If you also want to renovate the bathroom or other rooms, we plan it together with the bathroom renovation or the apartment renovation.
Do you need a permit to renovate a kitchen?
Replacing units and finishes is usually handled with a responsible declaration or a minor works permit. If a wall is to be removed, we first check that it is not load-bearing; if it is, both the procedure and the works are different. We check it during the visit and handle the permit for you.
Keys to planning your kitchen renovation
- The working route. Sink, hob and fridge should be close to each other with nothing in between.
- Clear worktop space on both sides of the hob and next to the sink.
- Extraction with a suitable outlet: in many buildings it decides where the hob can go.
- Enough sockets and light over the worktop, not just on the ceiling.
- Room to move around an island, so you can work with the drawers open.
- Storage planned from the start: tall units, drawers and pantry.
With good planning, a kitchen works better even without gaining any space.
Frequently asked questions
Can the wall between the kitchen and living room be removed?
If it is not structural, it normally can. We check before doing anything; our architectural technologist assesses the solution if the structure needs to be altered.
How long does a kitchen renovation take?
It depends on the scope and on manufacturing times for the units; we do not give timescales without seeing the kitchen. After the visit we give you a schedule.
Can you renovate the kitchen without changing the units?
Yes. We also carry out partial renovations: installations, wall finishes, flooring or worktop.
